Elia bezorgt Oranje onder 19 zege
Het Nederlands elftal onder 19 jaar heeft vrijdagavond de oefeninterland tegen IJsland in Bunschoten-Spakenburg winnend afgesloten. Eljero Elia zorgde in de eerste helft voor de enige treffer.
Het team van bondscoach Cor Pot bereidt zich voor op het EK-kwalificatietoernooi, dat van 14 tot en met 19 oktober plaatsvindt in Duitsland. Oranje neemt het daar op tegen de leeftijdgenoten van Duitsland, Wit-Rusland en Griekenland.
